BIO

Antonio Tufano is an Italian Hair Designer, International Educator, Art Director, and multidisciplinary visual artist whose work bridges hair design, photography, and contemporary art.
With over 30 years of experience in the professional hair industry, Antonio has educated more than 1,000 hairstylists through a distinctive approach that goes beyond technique. His philosophy is built on the belief that every haircut begins with an idea, every shape tells a story, and true education develops vision before skill.
He is the creator of the Antonio Tufano Method, an educational system focused on form, structure, creative thinking, and editorial precision. His signature philosophy—"The Method Educates. The Haircut Transforms."—reflects his commitment to helping hairstylists become designers rather than simply technicians.
Antonio is also the inventor of TRIXCUT®, an innovative three-blade cutting system developed to provide greater control, precision, and creative freedom. Through the Antonio Tufano Academy, he delivers advanced education, certification programs, and editorial experiences for hairstylists who aspire to elevate their craft.
Beyond hair, Antonio is an accomplished visual artist. His contemporary paintings and fine art photography explore the relationship between form, light, texture, and emotion, bringing the same artistic vision that defines his work behind the chair into galleries and creative projects. For Antonio, art and hair are not separate disciplines—they are different expressions of the same creative language.
Today, his mission is to inspire a new generation of hairstylists to think differently, design with intention, and transform technical knowledge into artistic expression.

SPACE- CUT- CONTROL

Space defines the cut.
It is matter in space.
Cutting is control, not performance.
